Causal pathways network: exploring methodologies for causal analysis

This CDI seminar will introduce the emerging causal pathways network which seeks to help philanthropy and other funders to open up the black box of strategy and systems change by building awareness, will, and skills to use evaluation approaches that can make sense of causal relationships without depending on more traditional experimental and quasi-experimental approaches.

Members of the network are undertaking collective actions to build will and skills, including sharing across diverse methodological repertoires for causal analysis that can support equitable systems-change efforts while navigating power.

In this seminar you will hear from the coordinators of the network: Jewlya Lynn and Carolina De La Rosa Mateo from Policy Solve, about the initiative overall, and from evaluators on their methodological practices of causal analysis.
